| | About two more weeks and I'm heading back to school. I've got some deadlines to meet before then, some last pages of my diary to fill (for the summer), and some friends to see. This summer passed like a dream. I can still remember what I was thinking when it started, and I can imagine myself thinking the exact same thing when it ends. Bottom line is that life is just too short to waste. There were so many things I wanted to do before senior year. And actually, I've gotten more than half of the list done. But now I'm not going to delusionalize myself and say that life'll be perfect (for once) and I'll be able to do everything, 'cause what's life without unfinished business, really? If life became so predictable and things went exactly how they're supposed to, then where would all the thrill be? Where would all the fun be in that? I always thought there was something more. And I still feel the same. There's something out there waiting for me, for all of us. And our best bet's to keep going and to unconsciously get ourselves ready for that big adventure. Then again, no one's ever really ready for it though. Hmmm, yeah.  Kids, some news on AI for y'all. [click me]
I'm so glad Blake didn't get sent home. *grumbles* Mom said he would. At the same time, I hate how Melinda had to go, too. She's amazing; a real pro. On the other hand, Jordin's on her way as well, and I've already mentioned this before but yeah, I'm really really REALLY proud of all of them for getting this far. They're an awesome bunch, this year's contestants and they've got the talent and skills. Of course, AI's a blast and all, but it's also a jump-start to something even more amazing. And having said that, I hope their dreams come true. Can't wait for the big finale~ Lines of the day: Some amusing exchanges. Enjoy~
